The story of Sqwerv began in 2017 at El Chapultepec, one of Denver’s most iconic music spots. Guitarist Guy Frydenlund and bassist Caden Kramer met in a music theory class at the University of Colorado Denver. Bonding over shared musical tastes, they formed a band that would be defined by shapeshifting compositions and expressive lyricism. What started as open jam sessions evolved into a cohesive sound, blending classic rock roots with modern indie flair.
